Clippard Instrument Laboratory Welcomes The Ohio State University
Cincinnati, Ohio – Clippard Instrument Laboratory is pleased to welcome several dignitaries of The Ohio State University to their facility in Colerain on June 8, 2016. Dr. David Williams, Dean of the College of Engineering, and Debbie Schroeder, Chief Development Officer will participate in a tour of Clippard’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility as well as collaborate on current and future initiatives.
Dr. Williams is the 23rd Dean of the College, a leading research institution and one of the nation’s most distinguished land-grant universities. Ms. Schroeder has been a leader in continually strengthening OSU’s traditional programs while investing in emerging fields for the future workforce.
Clippard has been a long-time supporter of OSU’s Mechanical Engineering program, providing students the ability to gain exposure to real world challenges while learning leading edge techniques through hands-on skill sets. In addition, lab space within the Engineering building has been dedicated as the “Clippard Laboratory”, named in honor of William L. Clippard, III, OSU Class of 1963. The lab is used for engineering design courses where students will have access to prototype-producing machinery, including CNC multi-axis machining centers, where they will be able to design, program, and run actual products.
“We have maintained a very strong, proactive and collaborate partnership with OSU for many years, and seek to continuously expand our relationship as we develop our business and our products”, states John Campbell, President of Clippard.
