Vacuum Control (Generator)
This schematic shows a vacuum generating application where positive pressure is regulated to a vacuum Venturi to generate and control precise vacuum levels. The Venturi generates vacuum when pressure flows across the internal orifice, this naturally pulls a vacuum. In this example, the Venturi is rated to produce -10 psig with 100 psig input. By adding a vacuum transducer as second-loop feedback calibrated 0-10 VDC = 0 to -10 psig, this process becomes linear and proportional to the commanded setpoint. A command of 5 VDC (50 psig) produces a 5 VDC (satisfied) response when the vacuum level reaches -5 psig.
