Click here to see the new Fluid Power Educational Kit! Clippard has supported fluid power education in many ways. We offered an educational kit in the 1960s to assist those who needed practical application assistance as part of an overall education in what is now known as 'motion control' (covering all aspects of mechanical, fluid and electrical systems). Long known for our expertise and product offering in pneumatic control circuits, Clippard has the most comprehensive line of control products in the fluid power industry, and we are constantly prepared to assist engineers and technicians when they need specific application help. Clippard Instrument Lab has also been big on other methods of education, from donating products to educational institutions that teach fluid power, to involving our people in the process of educating students in many ways. Some examples of our current involvement in education include support of the Fluid Power Educational Foundation (www.fpef.org) and several institutions. There are some links on this page to take you to programs and organizations we support. Clippard is pleased to announce our involvement with the FIRST www.usfirst.org (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). Along with several other manufacturers, we have donated time and products to assist this competition program for high school students. We are happy with the progress that the people of FIRST have made encouraging young people in the development of their talents and innovation for industry. |
